A big thank you to all at The Mill. You made our day perfect. The room was amazing, the staff were all friendly and polite, you made us all feel at home. Thank you so much to everyone. The cleanliness of the entire place is perfect. Please send our gratitude to our wedding planner and also please thank the cleaning staff so much. Our room was spotless and we cannot fault a thing.
Wedding Venue Reviews - "Would Highly Recommend, Perfect Wedding Venue."
We were married at the mill on 26th September 2012. We took 18 guests with us from Liverpool. Although me and my husband had visited the mill prior to booking everyone else hadn't and were very unsure of what to expect. But upon arrival they all fell in love with it as we did upon our first visit. Grounds are exceptionally well kept, rooms immaculate and clean. Bridal suite outstanding and extremely spacious. Nice little touches like champagne, chocolates and shot glasses to keep as a momentum of the stay very much appreciated.
Staff all friendly and helpful and made us feel at ease from the moment we booked and especially on our special day. Food of excellent standard both on our wedding breakfast, morning breakfast and bar/restaurant meals. The staff set our wedding breakfast room up lovely and took all hassle and stress away from us.
The mill forge itself where the ceremony takes place is breathtakingly romantic and quaint.
I have nothing but fond and special memories of my experience from start to finish at the mill. I would recommend getting married there to everyone reading this. It is very traditional, quirky, romantic and just perfect for something a little bit different!

We stayed at the mill forge for our wedding on the 27th of August best day of my life the service was great Liz the wedding planner was so much help with our little girl as their was only the three of us Carrie took our photos again she was great and really took her time the food was great even though it rained it still was the best day ever I would recommend the mill to anyone who wants to get married and its just the two of them as they really make you feel like you are the only ones getting married that day even though there was four other couples .

We married on Monday 3rd sep 2012 and we would HIGHLY recommend the Mill Forge. It was very easy to find and on arrival reception staff were very polite and helpful. Our bridal suite was beautiful, very spacious and with having its own front door it doesn't have that hotel feel.
With just the two of us and our 4 year old boy we were still made to feel very special. All staff we met were very child friendly,
there were 3 other weddings that day but we felt like the only wedding party there, the meal after we were married was exceptional,
Sandy Jamieson our minister made us feel relaxed he was so jolly and friendly, as was our photographer Colin Carpenter who took amazing photos on the well kept grounds, we are thoroughly delighted..
Everything went perfectly we were so happy we chose the Mill Forge.
The staff are very professional they do an amazing job, thank you all.
Wedding Venue Reviews - "Amazing Wedding Venue"
My husband and I got married here on the 27th August. We stayed with 17 friends and family for 2 nights. I cannot fault the place or staff at all. We had drink and a meal in the bar on the Sunday night, for some of us it was a few to many drinks,
The wedding day ran with out a hitch. Even the fact that if rained constantly all day did not have any effect on the day. The staff sorted everything and my guest and husband just got to enjoy the day. We had Rev. John Carr to marry us. He was great and a number of our guests commented on how lovely the wedding was. Carrie did our photographs and she was great, I can't wait to see the photographs.
I had an amazing couple of days and so did everyone who attended, a lot of people have said they would recommend anyone to get married there.

Wedding Venue Reviews - "Just perfect"
My husband and I got married here on Wednesday 6th June 2012 and I can only say it was just the most perfect day ever!!! Everyone was friendly and helpful without it being false, we felt so comfortable and relaxed. The meal we had there was superb. I'm so glad we booked The Mill and not anywhere in Gretna. My advice for anyone thinking of marrying in this area is to just book The Mill .... you will not be disappointed.
